i have decided to blog about what Lavette had shared with me yesterday...she shared with me how we as christians should know that in whatever we say and in whatver we do,God is there to see and hear it. She asked me lots of quetions. Questions that I totally did'nt know how to answer at that point of time. How long have I not done my quiet time? Avoiding quiet time with excuses like, no time,need to study...but I end up most of my time messaging instead. It's not that I can't even spare that 10 to 15 mins to read God's word and think through. It's whether I want it or not. It's not very easy,but niether is it very difficult. Like she asked me, have i seen doing my quiet time as a chore? She also mentioned about putting God first in our lives. When i'm facing difficulties,have i asked myself how to solve it? or take it to the Lord in prayer and ask Him for a solution? Are we as christians living up to God's expectation? She also shared with me a verse from the bible, 1 Corinthians 1:27-29," But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly thngs of the world and the despised things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him."
